These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Short Track Coffee website and your purchases from Short Track Coffee Company, LLC.
Please read these Terms before using our website or placing an order. By accessing or using the site, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms and to the policies referenced below.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the site or place an order.
1. Identification and Acceptance
This website is operated by Short Track Coffee Company, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company (“Short Track Coffee,” “STC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Because of differences in screens, production runs, packaging, printing, and other factors, actual product appearance may vary slightly from photographs or images displayed online.
Prices, product availability, packaging, designs, and product offerings may change without notice.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue a product at any time.
We also reserve the right to correct typographical errors, inaccurate product information, obvious pricing errors, inventory errors, or other mistakes appearing on the site.
If an error materially affects an order you have already placed, we may contact you before fulfillment or cancel the affected portion of the order and issue any required refund.
4. Orders and Payment
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance of the order.
We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including because of:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing or listing errors
- Payment authorization problems
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions
- Suspected misuse of the site
- Shipping restrictions
- An inability to fulfill the order
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled merchandise and any other amounts required by applicable law.

You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not control the processing times, security procedures, or policies of your bank, card issuer, digital wallet provider, or other payment service.

5. Shipping and Fulfillment
Short Track Coffee currently accepts orders for shipment within the United States as described in our Shipping Policy.
Shipping charges, processing expectations, tracking information, split shipments, address errors, carrier delays, and related matters are governed by our Shipping Policy.
Some products may be produced, roasted, printed, packaged, stored, or shipped by third-party fulfillment providers acting on our behalf.
Because different products may be fulfilled from different locations, items from a single order may arrive in separate shipments.
Delivery dates and carrier transit estimates are estimates unless we expressly state otherwise.
We are not responsible for delays caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, carrier disruptions, natural disasters, governmental actions, or other events beyond our control. Nothing in this provision limits any cancellation, refund, or other rights that applicable law requires us to provide.
6. Returns and Refunds
Returns, replacements, damaged merchandise, incorrect orders, lost shipments, and refunds are governed by our Refunds & Damaged Orders Policy.
Because coffee is a food product, different return rules may apply to coffee than to apparel or other merchandise.
We reserve the right to request reasonable documentation, including photographs, order information, or shipping information, when evaluating a claim involving damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect merchandise.
Nothing in these Terms or our Refunds & Damaged Orders Policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
7. Third-Party Services
Our store may rely on third-party providers for services including website hosting, ecommerce functionality, payment processing, fulfillment, shipping, analytics, marketing, reviews, and other business operations.
Our website may also contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
We do not control independent third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or terms.
The use of a third-party provider to perform part of our operations does not eliminate any responsibility Short Track Coffee may have to you under applicable law for your transaction with us.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content appearing on this website is owned by or licensed to Short Track Coffee Company, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
This includes, where applicable:
- The Short Track Coffee name and branding
- Logos and graphic designs
- Product names and packaging designs
- Photographs and illustrations
- Written articles and editorial content
- Website copy
- Videos and other original media
- Page designs and original creative materials
You may view and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, republish, sell, distribute, modify, scrape, systematically copy, or commercially exploit our protected content without our prior permission, except where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of or a license to use our trademarks, logos, branding, or other proprietary materials except as necessary for ordinary personal use of the site.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Short Track Coffee Company, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of the site or purchase of our products.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms limits your right to receive a refund, replacement, or other remedy when required by applicable law or by our applicable customer policies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from a particular purchase will not exceed the amount you paid to Short Track Coffee for the product or order giving rise to the claim, except where a greater remedy is required by applicable law.
12. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Short Track Coffee Company, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising directly from:
- Your unlawful use of the site
- Your intentional violation of these Terms
- Your infringement or violation of another person's rights
- Fraudulent, malicious, or unauthorized activity conducted through your account
This provision does not require you to indemnify Short Track Coffee for our own negligence, misconduct, breach of these Terms, or violation of applicable law.

These Terms and transactions with Short Track Coffee are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent another jurisdiction's consumer-protection laws or other mandatory legal protections apply and cannot lawfully be waived.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of rights provided by applicable law that cannot be changed or waived by contract.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or, where necessary, treated as severed from these Terms.
The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
A failure by Short Track Coffee to enforce a provision of these Terms in one instance does not waive our right to enforce that provision in another instance.
These Terms, together with the policies expressly incorporated into them and any additional terms presented in connection with a particular service or transaction, constitute the agreement between you and Short Track Coffee regarding your use of the site and purchases from us.

We may revise these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our business, products, services, website, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Revised Terms apply prospectively from their effective date. Changes to these Terms do not retroactively alter the terms applicable to a completed transaction unless permitted by law and expressly agreed to where required.
